Si es que dicho decreto se emite y se publica en marzo del presente a\u00f1o, los dos puntos adicionales al IVA regir\u00e1n, de igual forma, desde el 1 de abril de 2024.<\/p><p>En su momento, Dami\u00e1n Larco, Director General del SRI, afirm\u00f3 en un podcast con Forbes Ecuador que la propuesta de incrementar en tres puntos el IVA, del 12 % al 15 %, representar\u00eda para el Estado recaudar US$ 1.306 millones adicionales. Al solo subir un punto porcentual, esto representar\u00eda, aproximadamente, US$ 435 millones m\u00e1s para las arcas fiscales hasta finales del 2024.<\/p><p>Seg\u00fan Larco, para solventar la crisis de inseguridad, la crisis social y la crisis econ\u00f3mica, \u00ab\u201ctodos debemos contribuir al financiamiento de esta guerra\u201d.
